When understood and used correctly, your SHAPE will bring glory to Jesus and have an impact on the kingdom of God. The Celebration of Discipline
July 13 – August 3 | 10:00 a.m.
For four weeks we are going to dig into this classic text by Richard Foster and learn about the spiritual disciplines. We will be talking about how the spiritual disciplines can liberate you in your Christian walk and set you on a pathway to continuous growth as a believer. The book is divided into three parts: The Inward Disciplines, the Outward Disciplines, and the Corporate Disciplines. We will define each discipline, offer practical instruction, and assign weekly readings and practices as we work our way through each chapter. Every follower of Jesus should understand these core disciplines and be able to practice them, so if you are looking to go deeper in your walk with the Lord, this class is for you.
