Practical and Powerful Praying

September 7-October 12 | 10:00 a.m.

Prayer is a central discipline for a Christian to grow and receive from the Lord, but most of us struggle with the practical working of prayer in our everyday lives. Prayer is the vehicle God has given us to change things around us, move God’s heart, and facilitate change in ourselves. When we are not intentional in our prayer lives, we don’t grow at the rate we are capable of, nor are we as effective in our service to others. In this class, we are going to talk about how to structure a regular prayer time with the Lord, as well as practice praying as a part of everyday life. We will learn how to approach God in worship, pray different kinds of prayers, pray and memorize scripture, pray in power, as well as how to remain “free” in our praying.

Dates: Sundays. September 7 – October 12

Time: 10:00 – 11:15 A.M.
